3717-1-04.1(KK) / Food equipment - certification and classification.
Repeat Observed noncommercial equipment (kitchen aid mixer) that was not approved by a recognized testing agency at the time of inspection.
To prevent health hazards, food equipment that is acceptable for use in a FSO or RFE shall be approved by a recognized food equipment testing agency. Replace unapproved mixer with a commercial grade (NSF or equivalent testing agency) or remove from facility.
3717-1-04.5(D) / Nonfood-contact surfaces - cleaning frequency.
Repeat Observed accumulation of soil residue on multiple nonfood-contact surfaces (storage containers, storage shelving, etc.) at time of inspection.
To prevent contamination, nonfood-contact surfaces shall be cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues. Clean storage containers and shelving equipment. Recommend developing a cleaning schedule to ensure the facility and equipment is maintained.
3717-1-05.1(I) / Service sink - number.
Repeat Observed no service sink or curbed cleaning facility at the time of inspection as required.
For disposal of mop water and similiar liquid waste, at least one service sink or one curbed cleaning facility equipped with a floor drain shall be provided and conveniently located.
3717-1-05.1(S)(2) / Plumbing system - maintained in good repair.
Observed the plumbing system for the handsink was not properly maintained at time of inspection.
A plumbing system shall be properly maintained. Contact a licensed plumber to repair leak.
3717-1-06.4(B) / Cleaning - frequency and restrictions.
Observed a build-up of dirt and debris on the floors throughout the facility at the time of inspection.
To prevent pest infestation, the physical facilities shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean, and cleaning shall be done during periods when the least amount of food is exposed. Clean floors throughout facility and maintain clean.
3717-1-06.4(D) / Cleaning ventilation systems, nuisance and discharge prohibition.
Corrected During Inspection Observed the ventilation system on the gas water heater not being properly ventilated which was creating a public health hazard at the time of inspection.
To protect against health hazards, the gas water heater duct shall be vented to the outside, so that the system may not create a public health hazard or nuisance or unlawful discharge.
3717-1-06.4(M) / Storing maintenance tools.
Observed multiple maintenance tools improperly stored next to food equipment and on food preparation surfaces at time of inspection.
To prevent contamination, maintenance tools shall be stored so they do not contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, single-service articles, or single-use articles, and in an orderly manner that facilitates cleaning the area used for storing the maintenance tools. Designate a location for proper storage of maintenance tools.
