Critical Corrected During Inspection At the time of inspection, observed spray bottles containing cleaners in storage on a shelf directly above a table where food was being prepared.
The storage of spray cleaners above a table where food is prepared exposes food and food equipment to potential contamination. Poisonous or toxic materials shall be stored so they cannot contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, or single-service or single-use articles. Operator moved the bottles of cleaners to a separate location away from food.
3717-1-02.3(C) / Hair restraints - effectiveness.
Food employee(s) did not have their hair effectively restrained.
To prevent contamination, food employees shall effectively restrain or cover hair to keep their hair from contacting exposed food, clean equipment, utensils or linens or unwrapped single-service or single-use articles.
3717-1-04.4(B) / Cutting surfaces.
Corrected During Inspection The surface of a cutting board was severely scratched or scored and could not be effectively cleaned and sanitized.
Surfaces such as cutting blocks and boards that are subject to scratching and scoring shall be resurfaced if they can no longer be effectively cleaned and sanitized, or discarded if they are not capable of being resurfaced.

Facility appeared clean at the time of inspection. Discussed proper handwashing and glove use procedures. At the time of inspection, observed food equipment air drying as required. Management maintains a written illness policy, and stated that ill employees are excluded from work. Use NSF approved food containers and lids for the storage of food. |
