Complaint on 13-Oct-2022 :
An inspection was conducted in regards to a complaint.

Per complainant: I am aware that this was brought to the health departments attention last year, however, this year we have still been served raw chicken. We have been trying to address this with the school, however, they continue to sweep it under the rug. A picture was received Oct. 10, 2022.

Complaint findings: Observed facility verifying chicken is fully cooked at two different points in the process. Temperature logs are being kept, although PIC was unable to find the log sheet from October 10 at the time of inspection. PIC stated the employee that would have cooked the chicken will be notified and will ensure the logs are being logged in the correct location. PIC stated they use two different chicken products, one is fully cooked and is just heated and the other chicken product is raw and is fully cooked (165 for 15 seconds). PIC was very knowledgeable regarding food safety in the operation.

Per discussion with PIC, they were unaware of any concern from students about receiving raw chicken. PIC stated they will make all managers aware of the report.
