Complaint on 08-Apr-2019 :

An inspection was conducted in response to a recent customer complaint. The customer stated that food was eaten from Kenko at approximately 5pm on 4/8/19. Meal included chicken terriyaki bowl with white rice and vegetables (carrots, cabbage, and broccoli). The customer experienced symptoms (nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, fever, chills) at approximately 8pm.

The PIC stated that no employees have been ill in the last 3 weeks. The PIC stated that no other customers have reported illness. The PIC was able to describe a proper employee sick policy with proper documentation.
There were no critical violations at time of inspection.
Proper food safety procedures were followed at time of inspection (handwashing, gloves, temperatures, storage, date marking, etc.).
The PIC will contact the Kent City Health Department if additional customers and/or employees report symptoms.
