3717-1-05.1(C)(1) / Handwashing sink - required water temperature
Critical The men's restroom did not meet correct temperature. The sink reach 80 degrees F while the food code states the minimum temperature is 100 degrees F. To prevent cross contamination hot water should reach correct temperatures. PIC stated will fix in one week. Observed a handwashing sink without water at the required temperature.
To ensure proper cleaning of hands, a handwashing sink shall be equipped to provide water at a temperature of at least 100° F (thirty-eight degrees Celsius) through a mixing valve or combination faucet.
