Marion Public Health epidemiologist Carlie Rees received a positive Giardia and Salmonella case in the country. Both the victims purchase groceries at the Marion Wal-Mart.

Discussed the cases with the manager. No employee's have been diagnosed with Giardiasis. Sick employee's are sent home and not allowed to work. Produce comes pre-sliced and no in house slicing is completed in store. The produce sprayers were clean.

All chicken in the deli is cooked to 165F or warmer. All hot holding of chicken was 150 or more.
