| Received a complaint stating that freezer went out and food was still being served from the freezer. Upon arriving I discussed the situation with the manager. They explained to me that the freezer went out and was sitting at about 30 degrees F when they noticed this. An emergency work order was placed and the freezer was repaired. During this time, the food stayed in the freezer since it was still holding the food below freezing. The situation took about 1 hour to fix, and the food remained frozen during this time. Otherwise, the food would have been sent to other local Taco Bell facilities if the food was unable to remain frozen. The food in the freezer did not show signs of thawing and re-freezing during the time of inspection. No violations observed during the time of inspection. |
