Comments
Complainant stated that a piece of pizza served was desiccated. Dominoes is the vendor for the school lunch pizza. The leftover pizza is stored in the walk in cooler until it is reheated to 165F or above and then it goes to the line for the al a carte service. All temps in their log were within compliance. Appeared that the piece of pizza in question was just hot held too long and dried out. Pizza delivery was made at 12pm while conducting the complaint inspection. The kitchen receives three different deliveries about 10 to 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled lunch time. Temps were checked on three random boxes of pizza that were delivered. No violations at time of inspection.
