Received a complaint stating that there was a sewage issue in the bathrooms and that the customer was concerned there would be a sewage backup in the kitchen as well. Upon arriving to my inspection on October 5, 2022 I discussed the situation with the manager; neither the bathrooms nor the kitchen has backed up since this issue. The facility was supposed to have professional coming out on Wednesday, 10/12 and next Thursday, 10/13 to fix the issue. The manager explained that there is a pipe in the ground that has deteriorated over time and is going to be repaired. Because of this, the bathrooms have been shut down and will be shut down until the problem is fixed. Upon arriving to follow-up with the issue, the manager explained that the issue has not been fixed due to an alternate solution route they ultimately decided to take in order to fix the problem. Employees have been using the restroom at the drive through across the parking lot, and the bathrooms have continued to be shut down. The manager provided paper work showing that the emergency plumbing company has been to the facility on September 16, 2022 September 27, 2022 and October 12, 2022. Two of those times the bathrooms were jetted in order to clear the plumbing system in order to avoid a backup. Along with this, we were made aware that the system has in fact backed up twice since this incident began. The first time we went to the facility for the day the manager was unable to tell us when the problem would be fixed. We checked the hand sinks in the kitchen, one of the bathrooms, and the hand sink by the serving station. All of which were functioning properly except for the kitchen hand sink that does not have a proper viscosity. Upon returning to the office we called the emergency plumbing company and the regional manager and were told that this still needs to be scheduled with the plumbing company. We went back to the facility again to obtain the plumbing records and speak with the plumbing company with the Denny's manager who told us they are looking to get this scheduled within the next 24 hours. Facility stated they would be fixing this issue by 11/1/2022. Administrative Review scheduled for 11/2/2022.
