Comments
Complaint stated a regular crispy chicken sandwich was ordered at this facility on 2/4 and complaint's son got ill with symptoms couple of hours after consuming it. The chicken sandwich was the only product consumed. Complaint stated a piece of raw chicken was found inside the sandwich indicating the chicken must have not been fully cooked.

Talked to PIC during investigation and PIC stated two kinds of crispy chicken are served at their facility: the crispy chicken (big piece of chicken) and the chicken junior crisp (small piece of chicken). The crispy chicken comes as "uncooked chicken breast" and the chicken junior crisp comes as "Chicken patty fritter". PIC stated the chicken junior is cooked for 2min10s and the crispy chicken is cooked for 6min15s. PIC stated before incident, the labeling on the temperature button to cook the chickens were chicken crisp and crispy chicken for the chicken junior crisp and the crispy chicken respectively. PIC believed that if raw piece of chicken as found by complainant it could have been a confusion in the labeling for cooking temperature. Therefore, the chicken crispy ordered by the complainant was probably not cooked at the right temperature. To prevent any confusion, PIC stated the labeling has been changed to chicken junior crisp and crispy chicken for more precision on the item being cooked. Observed crispy chicken being cooked with internal temperature of 209F at the time of inspection. No violation regarding the complaint was observed.
