Complainant stated employee at this facility was handling food with gloves that he used to handle other public use items such as doors and contaminated surfaces, then went back to prepping food without changing gloves. Employee also tossed contaminated food off the counter and then back into food prep containers to be reserved.
We went to the facility and talked to the PIC about the complaint. Did not observed complainant statement at the time of inspection. Observed food employee washing hands before donning gloves and changing gloves when required at the time of inspection. Reviewed proper handwashing and glove use with PIC. Did not observe employee tossing contaminated food off the counter back into prep containers. Food debris off the counter are tossed into waste pans located underneath the prep table counter. Waste pans are then discarded. No violation regarding the complaint was observed at the time of inspection.
