| Complainant stated observing an employee at the cafeteria eating with gloves on and serving food with the same gloves on. Employee was also cleaning and stocking with the same gloves on. Complainant stated the employee was seen with open sores. We talked to the PIC about the complaint. Did not observe employees serving food or eating during inspection. Did not observe employees cleaning and stocking during inspection. Did not observe employee with open sores during inspection. Reviewed proper use of gloves with PIC. Reviewed proper eating with PIC. Employees shall eat or drink in designated areas where the contamination of exposed food or clean equipment can not result. Talked to the PIC about making sure any food employee with open sores wears single-use gloves with an impermeable cover if needed. Single-use glove has to be worn over the impermeable cover. No violation regarding the complaint was noted at the time of inspection. |
