| We received a complaint that facility does not have hot water in the bathroom and that the bartender was observed setting out the 3 compartment sink with water from a coffee pot. We went to the facility and talked to the PIC. PIC stated they hot water tank broke this morning. PIC stated they have been using igloo cooler with hot water at hand washing stations (in restrooms, bar, kitchen) and that the dishwasher has a hot water booster that allow the use of the dishwasher. However, facility has to wait in between uses for the hot water to generate. Dishwasher was tested during inspection. We suggested facility heat up water to use the 3 compartment sink. Observed igloo coolers with hot water at the hand washing sink at the bar, restrooms amd kitchen. Only one igloo cooler was set up for hand washing in the Kitchen. Talked to PIC that they need more igloo coolers for hot water at all hand washing sinks in the kitchen. PIC stated facility is trying to get the hot water tank fixed as soon as possible and that they will get more cooler for hot water for hand washing in the kitchen. Observed WaterWorks company at the facility during inspection working on fixing the hot water tank. They said they should have the hot water tank fixed today. Facility shall notify the Health department when the hot water issue has been fixed for a follow up inspection. |
