Comments
Received a complaint that a raw hamburger was served on 8/22/23. Upon investigation of the complaint, it was determined that the hamburgers are purchased precooked and were prepared at Buckeye Community School in a combi oven at approximately 9:45am on 8/22/23. Temperature logs indicated that the prepared hamburgers left Buckeye Community School at 185°F, were 182°F when delivered to Marion Preparatory Academy, and were 175°F when served to students. Lunch times take place between 11:00am - 12:30pm. During the complaint inspection, that day's lunch (8/23/23) was observed to be within food code requirements (food received from Buckeye Community School and stored in the steam table were greater than 135°F for hot holding) with no evidence that raw food was served.
