| 10/10/2018 - Complainant stated that Kates Taste Best chicken thighs made her sick and that she had to be hospitalized for dehydration. Complainant was the only person who ate the chicken and was only person who got sick. Complainant purchased the chicken from refrigerator section. Complainant took it home, placed it in freezer. Complainant then defrosted the chicken by letting it sit out on the counter. Called complainant to confirm details of her complaint(wanted to confirm defrosting statement) on 10/11/18, 10/12/18 left voicemail after no answer. Complainant returned call on 10/22/18. Due to the complainant stating that the chicken was left to defrost on the counter no further action was taken due to the defrosting method used. |
