Comments
Received a complaint stating that employees were using their bare hands to prepare ready-to-eat foods and that none of the employees were wearing hairnets. Upon arriving, I did not witness any employees using their bare hands to make salads, pizza, or any sort of food. Employees are allowed to use their bare hands to prepare pizza as long as bare hand contact is minimized throughout the process. Once the pizza has been cooked in the oven employees must handle the cooked pizza and any additional toppings with gloves. Both the pizza and salad station had gloves at them during the time of inspection. Observed several employees to not be donning proper hair restraints during the time of inspection. Employees must wear proper hair restraints for both head hair and facial hair when handling food.
