| This consultation was provided after a rain storm caused flooding in the kitchen, serving line, and dinning area. First I took a look at where the water came into the facility. Water came in from a back staircase and along the loading area, The drywall walls will be replaced in the dinning area and serving line area. That is where most of the water was. In the kitchen, the water was down the hall and by the tray line. Everything was moved out of the tray line area . This area was completely washed, rinsed and sanitized. The rest of the kitchen where the water was was also washed, rinsed and sanitized, New coving was replaced in the kitchen. No water entered the walk-in freezer or walk-in coolers. Servpro came Monday at 9:30am to help dry up the kitchen. The tray line area was closed all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday till 4pm. The cafeteria was closed Monday till Thursday, No food was impacted by the flooding water. |
