Comments
Received a complaint stating the complainant was at the restaurant on 2/2/24 where they ate mussels, crab legs, and bread. The next morning the complainant woke with suspected food poisoning symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The complainant did not go to a medical center to confirm that the symptoms were caused by a foodborne illness. During the complaint inspection, the mussels and crab legs were observed to be kept under 41°F in the kitchen coolers. PIC confirmed that both of these items are received pre-cooked from the supplier. Neither item was being prepared at the time of inspection, so heating temperature was not observed. The facility was also observed to meet date marking requirements during the inspection. Baked rolls were observed to be kept in a warming unit above 135°F. No violations related to the complaint were observed during the complaint investigation.
