Complainant called in on 01/21 stating having food poisoning after eating at this facility last Monday. Complainant stated eating a burritos and felt sick and dizzy 2 hours later for about 12 hours. Complainant stated having beans in the burritos. Call was disconnected and we were not able to get more information from complainant. We tried calling the complainant but could not get a hold of him.
We went to the facility and talked to the PIC about the complaint. PIC stated not receiving any complaint about food poisoning. Talked to PIC about the kind of burritos they serve with beans. PIC stated only the "cheese and beans" and the "chimichanga" burritos are served with beans. The cheese and beans burritos only have cheese and beans. The chimichanga burritos have cheese, beans and chicken or beef. Observed beans, chicken and beef hot holding at 135F or above. Observed cheese cold holding at 41F or below. Facility did not have left over food from last Monday at the time of inspection. Reviewed proper hot/cold holding, cooking, cooling and reheating procedures with PIC. No violation regarding the complaint was observed at the time of inspection.
