Complainant was diagnosed with Giardia with onset of symptoms on 5/18/20. Complainant reported eating chicken fried rice at this facility.
Facility last waster sample was done on 5/13/2020 and was negative for Total Coliform. Facility had a verifiable employee sick policy at the time of inspection. The employee with a manager certificate at this facility is no longer working there. Facility has an employee that is registered for the class at Marion Public Health but due to Covid-19 classes have been cancel. Facility will have an employee attend the next available class. PIC stated facility get their chicken from GFS and no employee reported being sick. PIC stated the Well water is used for all food preparation and chicken is cooked to the required internal temperature. There is no bare hands contact with RTE foods. Reviewed proper cooking, holding, reheating temperatures with PIC. Reviewed hand washing and no bare hands contact with RTE food with PIC. No violation was noted during inspection.
