Comments
Received a complaint in regards to an individual getting sick after eating the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. Individual stated they got sick about 6 hours after eating the chicken and shrimp at applebees. After review of the chicken and shrimp cold holding and cooking procedures at the facility, there were no violations present. All the cold holding temps for the raw chicken were holding at 32F and the shrimp was holding at 34F. The manager stated they cook their raw chicken to at least 165F and their shrimp is cooked to 145F. Once cooked, it is immediately served. Thawing procedures were done correctly. There were no violations present at the time of inspection.
