Comments
Complainant called in 10/15 and stated being at the facility on 10/10 and had nacho's with beef, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and refried beans. Complainant stated feeling ill couple of hours after eating.
Talked to the manager about the complaint. Manager stated none of the Taco Bell recalled beef had been opened and used at the facility and all of the recalled products were discarded on 10/12. Manager stated beef comes in precooked and it cooked to 165F or above and hot held at 135F or above. Observed beef and refried beans hot holding at 135F or above at the time of inspection. Observed lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole cold holding at 41F or below at the time of inspection. Manager stated no other complaint was received. No food item from the complaint was still at the facility at the time of inspection. Observed temperature log from 10/10 at the time of inspection. No violation regarding the complaint was observed at the time of inspection. Reviewed proper cooking, cold/hot holding, cooling/reheating and date marking procedures with manager.
