| A salmonella case was reported from the state to our nursing director. The patient purchased lettuce from Kroger, which could be the item in question. All lettuce is supplied through Great Lakes Distribution Center in Delaware, Ohio All temperatures and storage were correct. Proper washing and slicing of the organic lettuce was observed. |
