Comments
Received a complaint stating that food handlers in the facility were not washing hands after using the bathroom, not wearing gloves after removing trash, and that food handlers were setting food directly on counters. Upon arriving to facility, discussed the complaints with the manager on duty during the time of inspection. Manager on duty explained their hand washing procedures and that they are required to wash hands after using the bathroom, after changing tasks, and before applying gloves. Along with this, employees at this facility are required to dispose of current gloves, wash hands, and apply new gloves when changing tasks. Witnessed employees who were handling food to be wearing gloves during the time of inspection. Along with this, hand washing stations were supplied, stocked, and had proper signs on them, including the bathroom hand sink that states that employees must wash hands before returning back to work during the time of inspection. Lastly, all employees had hair properly restrained according to the food code during the time of inspection. No violations observed during the time of inspection.
