Comments
The Health Department received a complaint that stated "there was hair in my food on top when I got home. I called China House to report it. I then noticed the food was all clumped together, and was not fresh looking, and the broccoli was yellow and discolored." I discussed the complaint with the owner, Maggie. She was not aware of the complaint. She explained that all the food is made to order and is held until it is picked up by the customer. Upon further investigation, the vegetables appeared fresh and the broccoli looked green. There were 2 female employees that had long hair that was not tied back. This violation was discussed with the PIC, Maggie, and she agreed to have employes tie their hair back to control the hair and keep it out of the food.
