3717-1-03.2(A)(2)/Preventing contamination from hands - bare hand contact
Observed food employee touching ready-to-eat food with bare hands. The ice scoop was not used to put ice in the cup. The cup was scooped into the ice. This is a critical violation because of cross contamination from hands to ice.
Except when washing raw fruits and vegetables, food employees may not contact exposed, ready-to-eat food with their bare hands and shall use suitable utensils. USE THE ICE SCOOP TO PUT ICE IN THE CUPS. THIS WAS ADDRESSED AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION. Correct By: 15-Feb-2014

Observed improper use and/or maintenance of wiping cloths. Several wiping cloths were left on the counter.
cloths in use for wiping counters and other equipment surfaces shall be held between uses in a chemical sanitizer, or laundered daily; KEEP THE WIPING CLOTHS IN THE SANITIZER BUCKETS BETWEEN USES. DO NOT LEAVE THEM ON THE COUNTERS. Correct By: 15-Feb-2014
