Equipment and utensils shall be designed and constructed to be durable and to retain their characteristic qualities under normal use conditions. REMOVE THE FOIL FROM THE SHELVES IN THE PREP COOLER AND PAINT THE SHELVES. Correct By: 28-Feb-2014

Observed floors, walls, and/or ceilings that were not constructed of approved materials. The wood baseboard in the men's bathroom is not sealed.
Where FSO or RFE activities are conducted, materials for indoor floor, wall, and ceiling surfaces shall be smooth, durable, and easily cleanable; closely woven and easily cleanable carpet for carpeted areas; and nonabsorbent for areas subject to moisture. PAINT OR OTHERWISE SEAL THE WOOD BASEBOARD IN THE MEN'S BATHROOM. Correct By: 28-Feb-2014

Repeat Observed light bulbs or heat lamp that were not properly shielded or coated where required. The cover is missing from the light fixture in the kitchen.
Light bulbs shall be shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-resistant in areas where there is exposed food, clean equipment, utensils, or linens, or unwrapped single-service or single-use articles and does not apply in areas used only for storing food in unopened packages. REPLACE THE COVER OVER THE LIGHT FIXTURE IN THE KITCHEN. Correct By: 08-Feb-2014

Repeat Observed no handwashing sign(s) posted at handwashing sink(s) used by employees. The men's bathroom did not have a hand washing sign.
A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands shall be provided at all handwashing sinks used by food employees. POST A HAND WASHING SIGN IN THE MEN'S BATHROOM. SEVERAL SIGNS WERE PROVIDED. Correct By: 01-Feb-2014

The physical facilities are not being maintained in good repair. The wall behind the 3 compartment sink is damaged and not easily cleanable.
