Critical Observed the air gap between a plumbing fixture and a piece of equipment that was not sufficient to prevent back siphonage of contaminated water. One drain from the ice machine is below the rim of the floor drain.
To prevent contamination, an air gap between the water supply inlet and the flood level rim of the plumbing fixture, equipment, or nonfood equipment shall be at least twice the diameter of the water supply inlet and may not be less than one inch (25 millimeters).

Critical CorrectedDuringInsp Handwashing sink is being used for purposes other than handwashing. The bar hand sink was used to drain fruit and ice.

Repeat Outdoor refuse storage surface is not properly constructed, and sloped to drain. The asphalt under the dumpster is crumbling.
An outdoor storage surface for refuse, recyclables, or returnables shall be constructed of nonabsorbent material and shall be smooth, durable, and sloped to drain.
RESURFACE THE ASPHALT UNDER THE DUMPSTER.

| The bottom shelf of the table next to the dishwasher is becoming rusty. If necessary paint the shelf. Remember to keep wiping cloths in a sanitizer bucket between uses, not hung over the rink of the sink. The surface of the ground where you do grilling next summer must be concrete or asphalt. These items were corrected since the 3-28-15 inspection: -Employee drinks are not uncovered in the kitchen -a thin probe thermometer is available and working -water is not pooling on the bottom of the reach in cooler -a hand wash sign is posted at the bar sink -the dumpster lid is closed. |
