Observed improper storage of food items. Packs of pop were stored on the floor.
Food shall be protected from contamination by storing the food in a clean, dry location, where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination, and at least six inches above the floor. STORE POP OFF OF THE FLOOR. Correct By: 29-Mar-2014
3717-1-05.4(H)/Toilet room receptacle - covered.
Observed no covered receptacle in women's restroom.
A toilet room used by females shall be provided with a covered receptacle for sanitary napkins. PROVIDE A COVERED CONTAINER IN THE WOMEN'S BATHROOM. Correct By: 29-Mar-2014

The physical facilities are not being maintained in good repair. The wall beside the sink in the women's bathroom is damaged.
The physical facilities shall be maintained in good repair. REPLACE OR REPAIR THE WALL IN THE WOMEN'S BATHROOM SO IT IS SMOOTH AND EASILY CLEANABLE. Correct By: 23-Jun-2014

All the violations from the 3-22-14 inspection have been corrected.
-The pop is off the floor.
-The wall in the bathroom is repaired and now smooth and easily cleanable.
-A covered container is now in the women's bathroom.


EMPLOYEE HEALTH - A model health policy was provided to the PIC and reviewed. Employees may not work when ill with diarrhea, vomiting, sore throat with fever, or jaundice. Report to the health department if an employee has a doctor confirmed foodborne illness.

PIC KNOWLEDGE - Critical food handling items were reviewed (food temperatures) and handout given, and an allergen awareness handout was given and reviewed.

FOOD DEFENSE - A handout on food defense was given and reviewed.
