3717-1-04.1(L)/Ambient air and water temperature measuring devices - accuracy.
Amient air and water thermometers are not accurate to plus or minus 1.5 degrees C, or plus or minus three degrees F in the intended range of use. OBSERVED: IN single door cooler(Frigidaire) in dining area a thermometer that started at 90 degrees in the refrigeration unit. Provide the proper thermometer for the unit to prevent a food borne illness. CORRECTED: unit has a correct thermometer at the time of reinspection
To prevent foodborne illness, ambient air and water temperature measuring devices that are scaled in Celsius or dually scaled in Celsius and Fahrenheit shall be designed to be easily readable and accurate to plus or minus 1.5° C in the intended range of use; Ambient air and water temperature measuring devices that are scaled only in Fahrenheit shall be accurate to plus or minus three degrees Fahrenheit in the intended range of use. There is no test kit available for measuring the concentration of the sanitizer. OBSERVED: No testing kit for Quat sanitizer. To make sure facility has proper parts per million of sanitizer to prevent a food born illness .A test kit shall be provided. Purchase a Quat test kit CORRECTED: Facility has appropriate testing device for Quat & Chlorine sanitizer

Observed working containers of poisonous or toxic chemicals that were not properly labeled with the name of the material. To prevent a chemical contamination which could cause a foodborne illness. Label any container that does not have a manufactures label. CORRECTED: employee labeled the container
