Comments
Complaint on 24-Jan-2019 :
Received complaint regarding a family who stayed at the facility on 1/13/19 and went into the hot tub because the pool was closed. Child was diagnosed with UTI after swimming in the hot tub.

Spoke with front desk person on 1/25/19. Complaint was made to the facility. PIC informed me that due to the pool being closed, the family spent a long amount of time in the spa- longer than normally recommended. The facility does not have adequate signs posted for the spa indicating maximum time allowed in spa or age of children permitted to use spa. Observed pool and spa records. Pool was closed for the full week of 1/13/19. Spa was closed from 1/15-1/19. Spa readings for the week before 1/13 were normal, free and combined chlorine readings were good.

Operators have recently changed equipment to EcoLab and chemical readings have been off for awhile. Record keeping needs work. Please ensure that pool chemicals are checked twice a day (once before the pool opens and again, 12 hours later as stated in the code). Also ensure that PIC is checking combined chlorine readings everyday, twice a day. This was discussed upon inspection/complaint. Will check back on Monday to ensure chemicals have been fixed.
