Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard and Complaint

Inspection Date: 01-June-2017

Comments
Received a complaint that the pool was causing a resident's daughter's private area and eyes to burn, her suit had a strong smell of chlorine and her hair is turning blonde. The resident took a sample of the water to a pool supply store and had it tested showing that the chlorine level is high. Upon inspection the pool did have a 10 ppm level of chlorine, which I informed the manager was on the high end of the scale, and recommended that they lower it. Manager informed me that the people who take care of the pool have experience with operating pools, however, they just installed a new chlorine feeder and are trying to find the optimal calibration for the chlorine level.

A standard inspection was conducted at this time.
