Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use. When maintenance staff is off combined chlorine is not tested. DPD FAS kit not available, combined chlorine not being tested daily.
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use combined chlorine must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the combined chlorine must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iii) / pH is tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
pH was not tested daily at pool side and/or at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. When maintenance staff is off of work, pH is not being tested according to records.
pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use pH must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the pH must be tested at 1 special feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Water temperatures were not being recorded daily. When maintenance staff is off, temperature is not being recorded daily.
Take and record the water temperature at least once/day.
3701-31-04 (B)(5) / Records are maintained for at least two years
Records were not maintained for at least two years.
Maintain all records and have them available upon request.
3701-31-04 (D)(8)(b) / FAS-DPD test kit used (when standard DPD test kit insufficient)
FAS-DPD test kit was not used when required. Correction: begin using an FAS-DPD test kit instead of the standard test kit. This test kit will allow the operator to test combined chlorine correctly.
Obtain a FAS-DPD test kit immediately.
