Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. Pool is open from 7AM-11PM. Observed records which show readings only being taken once a day beginning around 8-9AM on weekdays and around 12PM on weekends. Spoke with manager about ensuring that pool is tested prior to bathers entering the pool, and again every 12 hours while in operation.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
