3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c) / Minimum disinfection residual provided as required
Critical Corrected During Inspection Chlorine disinfectant residual was less than 1 ppm for the pool. Chlorine was 0 ppm.
Do not operate the pool when the disinfectant residuals are less than what is required. Ensure the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above prior to placing the pool back into operation. Chlorine level was raised to 5 ppm by the end of the inspection.
3701-31-04 (C)(2) / pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
Corrected During Inspection pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. pH was less than 7.0.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range. pH was raised to 7.4 during the inspection.

pH values were not continuously monitored. Turned off. If the controller is not operating then readings must be taken every 4 hours as required.

Pool company responded within 30 minutes. Chemicals were within correct ranges by the end of the inspection. New probes for the automatic chemical controller will be installed by the end of the week. Ensure that chemicals are being checked every 4 hours until the probes are replaced.
