3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e) / Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) shall function properly.
Critical Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) was not functioning properly at the time of the inspection. ACC is malfunctioning - pool needs to be tested every 4 hours of operation until it is fixed/replaced
Do not operate the pool when the ACC unit is not functioning properly. Ensure that the ACC unit is functioning properly prior to placing the pool back into operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i) / Disinfection residuals are tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. ACC is malfunctioning - pool needs to be tested every 4 hours of operation until it is fixed/replaced
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iii) / pH is tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
pH was not tested daily at pool side and/or at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. ACC is malfunctioning - pool needs to be tested every 4 hours of operation until it is fixed/replaced.
pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use pH must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the pH must be tested at 1 special feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vi) / Total alkalinity is tested weekly
Repeat Total alkalinity was not tested weekly.
Test total alkalinity at least once/week.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(h) / Required meters and gauges maintained/functional
Repeat Required meters and gauges were not maintained or were not functional while the pool is in operation. Flow meter appears to be stuck.
Maintain all meters and gauges in a properly funtioning manner at all times while the pool is in operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(o) / Ladders/stairs/steps are in good repair/slip resistent
Ladders/stairs/steps were not in good repair or were not slip resistant. Guard rail to enter pool is loose.
Repair or replace the ladders/stairs/steps so that they are slip resistant and in good repair.
3701-31-04 (C)(2) / pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
Repeat pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.

Comments
The minimum chlorine requirement for pool operation was not met. Flow meter appeared stuck and the automatic chemical control panel was malfunctioning. The spine board on the premise is aged and it a state of disrepair and should be replaced. Alkalinity is not being tested weekly and the pH is too high. The guard rail to enter the pool is loose.
