Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. Readings not being recorded on weekends.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (C)(2) / pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04 (C)(3) / Total alkalinity is at or greater than 60 ppm
Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm.
