The La Crosse County Health Department is responsible for licensing and inspecting all food related establishments and promoting the practices of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Food Safety and Recreational Licensing section. Each licensed establishment receives an annual review and additional inspections based on the findings to comply with food safety standards.
